Pastel Sundown

lyrics

Manifest destiny
Moving west to be free
Small town, let down
There's wild to claim
It flows like champagne
The slack that spills its top

Pastel sundown
In the glow of the rose
Canyon flowers
In ambering lights
Before you tonight
They aim for where to roam

Dusk falls, twilight songs
With a pull of the breeze
Head lamps path the map:
A state route dive bar,
A parking lot mart,
A chrome home on the range.

In ambering lights
Before you tonight
They aim for where to roam
